Book Giveaway!!! Six Pixels of Separation by Mitch Joel

0446548235.01._SX140_SY225_SCLZZZZZZZ_This is my very first giveaway, and I am totally psyched to be able to offer this book. Ever since I heard that it was coming out, I’ve been looking forward to getting my hands on a copy of Mitch Joel’s Six Pixels of Separation — and not only do I have a copy of my own to review, I’ve also got five copies to give away to lucky readers!

How To Enter
You can get an entry in several different ways. If you’ve entered a lot of online giveaways, these will sound pretty familiar:

1. Leave me a comment below. The comment should tell me why I should pick you to get a copy of this book, or what you think you would get out of the book.
2. Follow me on Twitter. Send me a DM letting me know that you’re following me, and you want a chance to win this book. PLEASE MAKE SURE you specify which book, because I’ll be starting a contest for another book pretty soon (as in, probably this evening).
3. Retweet me. Copy the following and paste it into Twitter:

#pewreviews #sixpixels Follow @warrenkelly to win Six Pixels of Separation! RT this!

4. Digg me, StumbleUpon me, etc. If you have a blog, link to this post! Send me an email to let me know that you did it, and you’ve got an entry.

For all of these except #1 and #2, you get an entry every time you do it. For #1, you only get one entry for leaving a comment, and obviously you can only follow me once on Twitter. But for the others, you can get multiple entries.

Remember, millions will enter (OK, hundreds) but only five will WIN! So what are you waiting for — get entering!!

NOTE: This contest will run through September 7, 2009

  2. Congratulations on your first giveaway! I just started doing book giveaways a couple of months ago and so far it has been fun. I hope it will be for you too.

I don’t usually read “techie” books but since I started doing book and product reviews, I suppose I better get myself familiar with the ins and outs of using Web 2.0 tools to grow a business. I think this book will be very useful to me.

  3. What’s your twitter handle? I couldn’t find @warrenkelly but did find @warrenkelly1 is that you? I wasn’t sure if that was you since it looks like it hasn’t been used yet.

Also non of the hash tags are showing results in Twitter.

    • I’m not sure why the hash tags aren’t showing up — I’ve been tweeting it like crazy. I may have to alter the Tweet and extend the contest a few days.

      I’m @WarrenKelly on Twitter.

  4. Why? I am a blogger and I have a small business on Zazzle with my girls. Thanks.

  6. And the hashtags seem to be working now on Twitter. Thanks, everyone!!

  7. I think I’d get a lot out of this book, I’m in college now but after I graduate I plan on opening my own business or going to grad school for business. Seems like an interesting read and I hope it will be insightful.

  8. Hi! I’d like to win Six Pixels of Separation by Mitch Joel – because I like the play on words (Six DEGREES of Separation) which implies a vast connection to all — if a person is one step away from each person they know and two steps away from each person who is known by one of the people they know, then everyone is at most six steps away from any other person on Earth — EVERYONE will know about my business — with the help of this book! LOL

  9. I follow you AND i rt’d this: — #pewreviews #sixpixels Follow @warrenkelly to win Six Pixels of Separation! RT this!

Can’t DM you though, as requested, since you don’t follow me 🙂 — Tough security, huh?

  10. I’d like to win because I’m interested in all forms of social media. It seems like there are so many to keep up with! I’d love to find out just how to maximize my time on the “important” ones!

  11. I follow on Twitter and RTd:
